“Early to bed and early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise”– Benjamin Franklin.
Just in case you missed it, here is this morning’s sunset! Clearly the photo was not taken anywhere near my neck of the woods here in central New Jersey, yet he shines over Bali with promise and majesty as the Bronx, none the less. The rising of the sun is one of the most magical sights and experiences to behold. I liken it to being a kid again and being presented the opportunity to get in the kitchen and actually take part in the creation of something wonderful that is being prepared for everyone in our world; including us. What tops it all is being granted that coveted, untouched, first taste of the corner of each just because we were one of the few that dared to be diligent and consistently show up ready to give of our service and receive of his.
Simply put, to rise with the sun connects us with the opportunity to witness and partake in the renewal of the world around and within. As the sun continues to increase in size and warmth as it crosses the sky and evolves throughout the day so too will you.
“Never let the sun catch you in bed”-
My grandmother and most likely yours.
